What would this "shadow veil sphere" even do? Stats seem a little underwhelming. I don't think this item would be very worth item, especially as a tier 4.

It would be something you can see out of but can't be seen into. Seems pretty powerful to drop one wherever you want. You could also get shadow veil bonuses from other items with it.

That wouldn't be very good for 6200 souls, especially with that stat line. I don't think the engine would really handle temporary shadow veils very well either. I could very much foresee this item being a huge bug magnet

If it would be too weak I think a passive +20% resistance to attacks coming through shadow veils, or a weaker version of that, would fix any weakness. A sphere would probably be the easiest version of making a shadow veil to code, but I have no idea. That's in their hands if they like the idea.
