Setting Geist ability soul swap to instant cast disable ability to open any chat

Its recreatable, i reset all key setting to default, then i put all heroes item 1 ability to mouse button, then i change all chat option to different key, then i change geist soul swap to instant. After swapping to instant cast chat stops working. Before it it works just fine

This occurs with other heroes that can use instant cast, such as Mo and Krill. I was about to make the same thread, but I wanted to piggy-back off this. It also prevents using voice chat.

You have to disable hero specific keybinds completely.

this is honestly horrible, you have to choose whether u want to comunicate or actualy use ur abilities in best way. I hope they will fix it asap, just found a cheater and was forced to reset to default settings just to say it. Sad part he wasnt turned into frog(

Disabling hero specific keybinds didn't work for me. Neither did resetting keybinds to default. I can open the chat box, but when I press Enter, nothing pops up... the chat box just goes away.

Behavior summary shows no issues.

Hope they fix this soon as I am literally muted in this game and have no way of fixing it.

Reset all keybinds, that fixed it for me, but this can happen again and again it seems.
