Low-key just copy/paste him over from Dota, his abilities don't even really need to change at all, aside from numbers.

His lore can just be "He got bored of Defending the Ancients so wanted to try something new"

He can already shoot from his staff(as demonstrated when he uses sniper ult), so doesn't even need a new weapon

The grand magus would need something more fashionable than a robe to fit in this era.

I don't think he can be ported 1:1 at all , Deadlock has very few instant stuns compared to Dota 2 (it's a matter of counterplay)
Furthermore , Seven already has chain lightning from empowered rifle.

As much as I would enjoy becoming a Dynamo's archnemesis by stealing his black hole , there would be issues with that hero , not least of all the need to add a 5th ability cast key.

Iono, it seems perfectly in character for Rubic to hop to a different universe and just fck around while wearing his robes.

Since deadlock seems to be moving towards a weird occult thing, he wouldn't even be so out of place
