Ricochet doesn't proc Haze Bullet Dance spirit damage

That's intentional. Ricochet applies to bullets themselves. Haze's ult makes her fire rapidly, and make the fired bullets apply spirit damage. Ricochet doesn't mimic imbued bullet effect, which you can kinda see from Paradox. Ricochet doesn't make the time stop bounce.

It actually isn't intentional and 100% a bug, otherwise they wouldn't have fixed it for wraith and vindicta's bonus spirit damage. The description for ricochet literally says that it applies any bullet based procs.

There's no reason this is 100% a bug. Like I mentioned, Paradox's time stop clearly doesn't ricochet. The thing is that it kinda depends on whether or not the spirit damage added by the ult is a "bullet proc" or not, though I'm not really sure of that because the wording is ambigous. For all we know, it could simply be that a "spirit bullet" is sent alongside every shot. We'll just have to see.

Time stop doesn't ricochet because it is not a bullet proc. Haze's extra damage on ult used to work with ricochet until it got changed to spirit. Back in august, ricochet got a bug fix so that vindicta's flight and wraith's full auto would work properly on ricochet. Haze's added spirit damage on bullet dance is a bullet proc (just like those two abilities previously mentioned), so it not working on ricochet is a bug.

Bullet dance has never worked like this.

The extra damage was clearly stated "+ Weapon Damage". Unlike Spirit Damage, where we don't always know its source, Weapon Damage is unambiguous, and it would trigger with Ricochet regardless.

Bullet dance never had Spirit Damage on it before lol. Also, like, it's a change? Things change sometimes...

I'm simply stating that the wording on it is ambiguous enough that we can't tell 100% that it's a bug. The wording in the patch notes does state "Bonus Damage" which I also thought would be a bullet proc at first, but it's been almost a month and that's still going.

Considering the fact that there are other characters whose spirit bullet procs do ricochet (meaning this is likely an easy fix) and that it's been like a month that it went unfixed, it may be that they want to make it akin to Paradox's time stop, imbued on top rather than a bullet proc.

The more likely probability is that Haze's old ult didn't apply bullet proc and instead simply gave her +7 weapon damage during the channel. When they swapped to Spirit Damage, they kinda forgot that, AND didn't apply it as a bullet proc? But at the same time, it's hard to see how they would forget that.

Then again I do remember stuff like Tesla Bullets didn't use to proc on her ult until they fixed it, so it's still a possibility you're right. We'll just see.

The fact is that ricochet applies any bullet proc according to it's description, not just weapon damage procs. Haze's extra spirit damage on bullet dance is a bullet proc and should work on ricochet for consistencies sake, just like vindicta flight and wraith's full auto. It's not working right now, therefore it's a bug.

I think this says a lot more about the developer's work speed being abysmal when it comes to bugs like this than any intentional design decision.
But at the same time, it's hard to see how they would forget that.
Someone at valve is sleeping on the wheel right now. Major game breaking bugs managed to ship. There's one with enemies slept being able to use active items right now (https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/enemies-able-to-use-active-relics-during-hazes-sleep.50631/) and it's still not fixed.

That's a fair argument. I did think it was intentional at first and they were doing a sort of thing where the Spirit Damage was sent alongside the bullet (and thus not a bullet proc), but mostly thinking about old Haze ult and how it didn't proc Tesla Bullet and the possible oversight of +Weapon Damage -> Spirit Damage, it may just be a bug. We'll see.

That one is pretty major for me, and I sure as hell hope it wasn't an intended feature.
