If I'm on the buy screen while waiting for the game to start it seems to predictably freeze. It might coincide with some loading happening during the start phase.
Throughout the rest of the game, if I WASD while looking at the buy screen, it will freeze.
I have to ctrl alt delete and end task to get back in. IIRC I can still hear sounds going on from the game during the freeze and it's possible it might unfreeze but I'm trying to get back to rejoin ASAP so I only tried waiting ~20 sec one time.
After this keeps happening and I have to end task and restart the game, I sometimes get rendering artifacts that carry over to my desktop (both screens) after the game is closed and I have to restart my PC to fix it. I haven't tried toggling graphics settings in game to see if that fixes the artifacts. I checked my GPU temp and it was within normal ranges for gaming.
My video settings and quality settings are generally optimized for high FPS:
