Rejoin Bug

After game i have a perpetual Rejoin screen.

Clicking it just attempts to join a game that doesnt exist then i get the "Disconnected from Server" screen.

Cant join hero sandbox and leave that, because i get the "abandon game leaver penalty" screen. And dont wana get penalized for leaving something that doesnt exist.

Watching a match doesn't even work.

No one can Q up with me in group because game thinks im in a match.

Exhausted all options.

I also have this problem right now. We finished a game, got the usual match end screen, and the "deadlock network offline" message displayed at the menu screen, and instead of Play is Rejoin. I clicked rejoin and could rejoin the server with a few others who did the same thing. The game instance was still running even though it was completed, and we could chat, and run around and shoot camps and stuff, but almost no sound.

Anyway, I left, and then closed the game. That was about five hours ago. Tried to play another game just now and I have this rejoin issue. I immediately quit, closed steam completely, and started it up again, but still the same issue. I can't play a game anymore.

FWIW I went into test hero, and then left the game (abandoning it with penalty in the process) and it has restored the menu with the "play" option. Currently queing up to see what happens.


I should also add it now shows my last game as "lost" even though we won.

Wow that worked for me - but I got a warning about a matchingmaking penalty when I left hero testing hah!

Ah damn, i was just thinking about doing that. Lmk what the final result of everything is when u get the chance

Just finished first game after the "abandon" from test hero. Seemed like a normal game, and I have play back again as normal on the menu. Weird bug, but looks like this fixed it, and I couldn't tell if I actually got any penalty.

Then i think that i'll wait to do my abandon.
I'd like to find a fix that doesn't result in players matches being retroactively decided due to a bug.

Fair enough. It is only one match in an unreleased game though. I'd rather just play more games
