It seems that if you go to spectate a match while queueing and find a match at the same time the spectating match loads, you receive a leaver penalty for leaving the spectating match.
The spectate match says the normal "Leave spectating" option, but when you click it says "this match is not safe to leave"
I tried leaving to try to get to my queued match, but I was not able to join my match and has applied penalty.
