Quicksilver reload reduces Vindicta's Assassinate Damage on headshot

After purchasing "Quicksilver Reload" Vindicta's Assassinate ult does less damage on headshot for some reason?
First image here is on headshot.


Second image is on body shot

No talents taken, no other items besides Quicksilver Reload, done on infernus bot enemy in hero sandbox, Vindicta max level to avoid leveling between shots.

Quicksilver reload gives +50 damage to the first hit of ability. Somehow it triggers on the 2nd shot of Assassinate.
I guess Assassinate is just so fast that the bonus damage happens after the 1st shot.

no the thing is that you can do it in the reverse order and the results will be the same, going from body to head produces the same damage numbers

headshot with assassinate does not grant bonus dmg

Seems like any ability with instant damage effects, like Lash's Flog for example, do not have Quicksilver Reload's damage bonus on their first hit.
