If you queue up items that have choices (which active slot, which ability to bind to) then sometimes when autobuy occurs at a shop it will ask you for the choice even if you can't afford the item. From that moment on, quickbuy autobuy no longer functions, not ever autobuying despite having the money to when you approach a shop.
