Queue time incredibly long

Hello, I've been queueing with 2 other friends and we've been sitting in queue for about 10-15 minutes each time we have played. I've played quite a few games and have done well, but I wouldn't say I'm a "top .1%" player by any means. Nor are the people I am facing.

Have others run into this problem? Any fixes other than possibly solo queueing? I would like to not resort to that, but if that's the only way to play the game with a reasonable queue time I will.

i haven't had a game where the queue time was more than 3 seconds, sounds like a region thing or you're just not picking enough for your roster

I have this same issue. My solo queue is always <1 min but duo queue is going on for like 5+ min before we cancel it.
