There are a couple of items which do differing amounts of damage based on purchase order.
For example, if I buy headhunter and then crippling headshot, the headhunter proc deals 140 damage:
However, if I reverse this order, crippling headshot deals 174 damage:
Same thing happens with mystic vuln + burst too, here is vuln causing burst to deal 40 damage:
But in the other order, mystic burst deals the normal 35 damage:
Ideally, I would think certain items would have an application priority, i.e. % buffs would apply before flat increases so that the flat increases would benefit from the % increases, but of course there may be reasons I'm not thinking of which makes this not the case! I also don't know if this works on other interactions than just damage numbers because I couldn't think of any to test, the most obvious seem to just be damage numbers.
