Poor Performance

I found myself having very low performance on the game managing to get 20-25 fps, when I could pull out 25-30 in CS2, I understand they are different games but they run on the same engine, I find it strange how I can run way more demanding games from other companies but not this very well, it may very well be because its in alpha and performance may not be their priority right now but it would be nice seeing more performance enhancing updates.

Im on kinda low end laptop
CPU: Ryzen 5 3500u
GPU: Vega 8 Integrated Graphics
Ram: 12gb DDR4 2400Mhz
On a HDD and Windows 11

Im totally ok with running the game at 30 fps while it not looking so great but not being able to pull 30 fps with resolution scale at 40% is dissapointing considering other games I have ran on this laptop.
Sorry if this has been talked about before just wanted to point out the biggest issue on my first time playing the game.

well when I can run alot of other modern games, including CS2 and Half Life Alyx with a no vr mod it makes it seem like they haven't gone around to performance improvement, which makes sense its an alpha afterall.

Could be incompatible drivers. Try update drivers

Since the new update that rolled out today, my performance has horribly dropped. I don't know if it is from the map changes, shiv, or what but I drop under 20 fps at times when I normally am 50+.
