I've noticed many times the player collision boxes are notably larger then how they are perceived. This is one of many occurrences where it looks as though movement is perfectly valid, but for some reason it eats away 2 stamina instead. Ideally it would be better to allow players to treat corners like these as rounded edges, based on their dot product to the normal of the wall you can favor allowing a slight offset to those movements. currently this feels like some source 1 Jank which was help over. there are existing solution for this problem and in competitive games it feels like you've been robbed by a data engine mechanic.
