Good afternoon,
Just had a ranked match (match id: 24365218; time: 39:35, my character: Geist) where I phantom strike'd into one of the gargoyle statues on Purple Lane. I'm not sure if there was any other displacement going on as it was in the middle of a team-fight.
Using the 'unstick hero' or 'suicide' options in the menu had no effect, nor did disconnecting and reconnecting (although I wasn't disconnected for long).
Strangely, I was able to throw my Essence Bomb out of the statue and melee a minion, but bullets were blocked.
Eventually, I was able to phantom strike out with the cooperation of an enemy player (Lash, in this case) 3 minutes later.
