Paige "Conjure Dragon" ability has very inconsistent interactions with stairs

When throwing Conjure Dragon at most stairs, there is about a chance that the dragon will end up going backwards or even clipping into the floor. I find that it happens more often at the stairs near the spawns, and less commonly on the small set of stairs in the middle of the blue lane.

This spell is infuriating to use. Feels like a gamble every time you use it because the way it bounces and redirects is almost impossible to predict. I really hope they change this spell to act more like Kinetic Pulse which is at least a little bit more predictable to cast
