One-way smokescreen. Deadlock alternative to team invisibility abilities

Was thinking that an interesting idea for an ability would be a Paradox-like wall ability (minus the offensive and defensive capabilities) which is visible on one side but when viewed from the front makes all players behind it invisible. So if you were ganking, you could use it to sneak around and get the jump on your prey or hide your team behind it during big pushes to confuse the enemy.

Obviously there's loads of issues with it. Number 1 being that it could be kinda unfair and disorienting. But theres loads of ways to deal with that, like maybe the barrier is revealed if you look at it for long enough, or it plays a clear humming noise or emits particles around it. Number 2 that it is hard-counted by fliers (but whether thats a good or bad thing is up to opinion)

In fact it could not even be invisible. Maybe make it fully opaque on the opposing angle and then transparent on the friendly side. So you can attack from behind it with near full visibility of your opponents while they have to struggle trying to shoot at you not knowing where you are behind the haze.
 
Considering how vertical the map is, and because of that the wall needs to be incredibly huge for it to be of effect, i think this would be hard to implement. But i can see it be like Astra (from valorant) ultimate. But i wouldnt know how to implement it without being like a straight copy paste ultimate. Maybe like make it a really large veil wall that gives buff if you pass through it?
