Whenever I was watching somebody show me their strats, I noticed that this area and some other doorways have this one-way barrier in their game. Apparently, I have been unable to see them this whole time. I think this is also related to this bug. Anyways, I have attached a screenshot to this post.

I did some testing just now. The barriers render on Windows using the latest AMD Drivers, and they render whenever I play the game on Linux with the AMDVLK driver.Screenshot_20240602_183034.png

I will go test the latest commit of mesa soon. If it doesn't work there, then I don't know really what to do as this seems like a potential Mesa issue than a deadlock issue. I know Valve works on the RADV driver, so maybe I won't have to create a bug report for Mesa (as I am sure that will be leaking the game?). I would love to hear feedback as to what I should do or not do.

can comfirm this among other issues with transparency (mcginnis's wall being transparent and the powerup bottles having broken transparency) are also happening to me with the RADV mesa drivers on linux

I tested a git head build of Mesa both on Vulkan and DXVK, and AMDVLK on dxvk. Mesa is still not rendering the barriers, and AMDVLK works on DXVK. I am conflicted as I really don't wanna have amdvlk installed on my system since it forces itself as the default vulkan driver and traditionally has worse performance and super noticeable extended shader compile times.

do any of you experience strange like artifacting or ghosting when charge punching? it appears instead of the standard expected shockwave visual effect for me.

just noticed that the frosted glass effect dosnt work on mesa either
Yeah, I previously raised a thread for it here, but indeed it seems there are many other issues too as you guys have pointed out.

I've definitely noticed some odd ghosting effect when certain abilities are in use. Usually I can see it through other geometry too.

This seems to be fixed for me with the new update. I just played a match and McGinnis' wall worked as well as all of the one-ways.
