When initially booting the game, I found the game running at less than 1fps. I found out this was because my default recording device was the Oculus Virtual Audio Device. This comes installed with Oculus Link/ Meta Quest Link, and is the VR headset's microphone. The lag can be fixed by switching to a different microphone in the game's settings, or by disabling application microphone access through Windows Settings.
