after few months of not playing I installed the game and have zero audio (in menus, in game anywhere),
also it seems like the game doesn't pick up even on any microphones
In any other game or just windows everything works fine
I have tried all the troubleshooting I found online but nothing works so I figured to try here.
Stuff i tried:
-Of course I checked if its muted in game or windows
-restarting pc
-reinstalling game
-verifying the integrity
-different headphones and speakers
-reinstalling drivers for audio
-starting game with or without discord
-snd_restart in cfg (no idea what it is but chatgpt suggested that)
-turning on and off all the different audio enhancements
but it seems like the game doesn't pick up on any sound related stuff
I have audio set on 16bit, 48000Hz that is the only option windows menu gives me
