Near-unplayable frame drops since last update

I play Deadlock with several other friends, experience has been fine previously but since Sept 30 hotfix one of us has been having significant frame drops in multiple games, while myself and others are fine. I suspect it is device-based and may have to do with certain animations (such as Mirage's mark) as his game tends to drop in fights where people throw a lot of abilities.

I've also been having worse performance since Sept 30, most notably in big team fights inside of a base.
