Hey everyone,
I’m running into a really frustrating issue and was hoping someone here might have a fix or at least knows what’s going on.
So basically, my friend somehow managed to completely mess up my game to the point where I’m permanently softlocked. What happened was: we were messing around, I had noclip on, and I was in the waiting room. At some point, he spawned an enemy and then selected a “mimic enemy” option from the menu. Right after that, my camera completely broke—I couldn’t move it at all.
The weird part is my mouse itself still works fine (I can click, interact with menus, etc.), but my camera just won’t move no matter what I do. It’s like the game isn’t registering camera input specifically.
At first I thought it was just a temporary bug, so I reset the game—but the issue persisted. Then I restarted my computer, and still no change. After that, I went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the game entirely, and somehow the problem is STILL there.
So now I’m basically stuck unable to move my camera at all, which makes the game unplayable.
Has anyone else run into something like this? Or does anyone know if there’s a way to reset whatever setting or state got broken here?
Any help would be appreciated.
