Recently I've been testing a few things privately in private bot matches and hero sandbox, and I've noticed that on several occasions if I alt-tab during gameplay and another program overlaps the project8.exe's focus on my primary monitor, it causes the game to freeze and often crash.
I'm playing the game in borderless windowed mode using DX11. I have 64 gigs of RAM, and my GPU is an RTX 3090 and the processor is a Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core processor. If there's any way to post crash dumps for this game I'll look for them and post those.
I haven't tried replicating this in other Source 2 games yet, but I could try launching CS2 and DOTA 2 as well to see if the issue persists.
