Mouse cursor freely moves between monitors when running without compatability layer on Linux

What happened: While piloting any character, if I move my mouse to turn to the right, my cursor leaves the window and freely moves to my other monitor.

What I expected to happen: While piloting any character, my mouse would control the character instead of moving freely between monitors.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load into the hideout
2. Open then exit settings
3. Mouse now freely moves between windows

Note: This does not happen when using Proton GE. This was not happening before today's update, and it does not occur until after accessing a screen to move the cursor around, rather than controlling a hero.

I have had this issue as well, both with the native build of the game and while running it in Proton (Tried switching between Vulkan and DirectX in game aswell) it doesnt seem to capture the cursor. This hasn't however been a deadlock specific issue for me, this has happened on most games I try to play on linux.
