Character: Mortex
Mortex is a cybernetic mutant. His body is a mixture of biological and mechanical, covered in armor and retractable arms with electrodes and mechanical claws sticking out of them. Mortex's face is hidden beneath a mask, from beneath which glow sinister red eyes. There are sparks and the sound of working mechanisms all around him.
Mortex's Abilities:
Plasma Spike (1):
Description: Mortex fires a plasma spike from his mechanical arm, which is aimed at the nearest enemy and deals significant damage.
Visual Effect: The plasma spike shoots out with a bright blue light, leaving a trail of electric sparks behind it, and smashes into the target, causing a massive explosion of flying debris.
Cybernetic Parasite (2):
Description: Mortex infuses an ally with a cybernetic parasite that enhances his abilities and restores health. The parasite also deals periodic damage to nearby enemies.
Visual Effect: The parasite, in the form of a metallic worm, infiltrates an ally's body, emitting blue light and sending electrical discharges into surrounding enemies.
Electromine (3):
Description: Mortex lays an electromine that activates when enemies approach, slowing them down and dealing damage when it explodes.
Visual Effect: The mine looks like a small device with flickering red LEDs that explodes in a bright blue burst and releases electrical discharges that paralyze enemies.
Defense Cocoon (4):
Description: Mortex temporarily creates an energy cocoon around himself that absorbs damage and gradually restores his health and enhances his abilities for a short time.
Visual Effect: A glowing cocoon of blue energy appears around Mortex, with electric shocks running through it as Mortex regenerates inside.
Alternate Ultimate - Cyberclone (4):
Description: Mortex temporarily creates a cyberclone of one of his allies, giving him the ability to control the clone and utilize its abilities.
Visual Effect: A blue cloud erupts from Mortex's mechanical devices, enveloping the ally and forming a metallic cyberclone.
