More melee items!!

While I do like the little range of melee items currently available, I do like the idea of more melee items giving more options to those people that like more close-range playstyles. Therefore I am going to write down a few ideas for melee items that I think could potentially work in the game.



Lightning Fists
A melee variant to tesla bullets. Heavy melee attacks create lightning that will hit every opponent at medium range (Obivously with lower damge than the player's heavy melee).
Light melee attacks could also have this effect but it would only hit one or two opponents at a time.

Cooldown Jabs
Melee attacks lower your ability cooldowns by a certain amount of time or percentage of a cooldown's ability.
Light and Heavy melee attacks should both have an equal effect, making light melee attacks more efficient at lowering cooldown time.


Charged Melee
I see this as more of a novelty fun item.
Heavy melee attacks can now be charged to massive melee attacks.
Performing a heavy melee attack will require the player to release their melee key at around the time they would have normally performed a heavy melee attack.
massive melee attacks would probably take twice the time to perform as heavy melee attacks, additionaly, the charge up would also be audible to everyone in the player's vicinity.


Fighter's Spirit
Grants spirit and weapon resist while performing melee attacks.



I have tried to not include any stat numbers in these ideas as I believe stat numbers are not important to making a cool and unique item and they should instead be reserved for balancing later on.
If you have more ideas for melee focused items, I would love to hear them out, additionally, I am probably going to write down a couple more ideas in this thread in the future.
 
all good, and have place except charged melee, its a full meme item. Too good on heroes that have 2 or more seconds of stun or against those who dont parry. Abrams with duration extender, or haze with her funny ability gonna be very good.
