More cheaper items should be build into better items. What's the point of some truly useless items like rapid fire when you have high vel bullets which builds into pristine emblem?

endless bullets

tier iv

rapid rounds -> burst fire -> endless bullets

+75% fire rate
+50% slide distance
+50% slow resistance
+150 bonus health
+burst fire passive

active: 90s cooldown. get +2 multishot for 7s, lasts 0.3s longer per bullet hit

I don't know gets to use that item.

But most people don't go for the full upgrade because of the cost. Burst Fire for the price too good of a stat
Did he make up that endless bullets? Also you can just slide and get endless bullets (which burst fire is good for) Anyways, I agree they should make burst fire a higher cost item, improve the stats, and make it go rapid fire > swift striker > Burst Fire ( if were talking about going into 3 item upgrade paths like extra spirit). Otherwise make up an item where it makes sense to buy rapid fire because it is valuable on some heroes but it feels bad to buy because you know its useless later. I like that they made extra health > fortitude. These are the types of upgrades i'm talking about. Ammo scav is a good example of a 500 item that is so good it doesn't need an upgrade and usually only sold for something way better.

He made it. Endless bullets would be the tier 4 which is just op and everyone would use it. I don't like the health bonus for the item because the make no sense to me and the slow resistance is too high.

Maybe you can concept is too be able to combine item for stats upgrade and item merging, but it is only in a flex slot, and it takes up two slots.

But health bonus is good on some heroes early and it gives extra damage for laning phase. It is very underrated. Only bad thing about it is that it was like rapid fire where it didn't have a reason to be bought because it doesn't do anything for you past laning phase. Which they fixed by allowing extra health > fortitude.

Rapid rounds is far from useless.
I didn't mean its useless. Im meant more its period of usefulness feels small compared to other items. After laning and even during you could just save up and get swift striker. Its feels useless mid game and is usually the first thing i sell if no flex available

What's wrong with selling cheaper items? Rapid rounds is supposed to be a stat stick that gives a whole bunch of one stat for the early game. Making it build into something else defeats the purpose of these items.
