A sort of "Open palm" monk character with a theme of mirror images. Not quite illusions, since they should be obviously fake, but shadow/chi/spirit clones.
Mouse 1, Force Palm: Hero does a sort of "Open palm strike" that sends a projected hand forward as a bullet. Either a straight up glowing hand, or just a force strike that looks like a bullet. The stance is both of their arms up and out to their sides, elbows at a 90 degree angle so their forearms/palms are facing forward. It'd be a sort of "dual wield" of alternating palm strike at the air
Ability 1, Phantom Dive: Target an area on the ground similar to a grenade ability. A clone leaps forward, pauses in mid-air at the mid-point between your casting location and the target location, then plunges into the target with a foot dive/big plunging kick.
Re-activate at any point before it lands to swap locations with the clone, continuing the move as yourself, including the kick.
If you swap to the clone, the plunging kick deals more damage/inflicts some sort of debuff. Maybe with skill levels it inflicts a greater debuff.
I think the debuff should be something that restricts the enemy's ability to escape, like a heavy slow/stun/disable movement ability/stamina drain. The idea being that their chance to avoid the burst is in avoiding the kick itself, and if they get hit, they're gonna get punished. If it's just an armor shred, it's no big deal if they fail to avoid the kick, they can just slide-jump out afterwards.
Could also give the user stun resistance after landing.
Maybe when you swap it also does damage around where you were when you swapped. I think there's a lot of ways to go with the effects on landing if you did or didn't swap, or the effects of the swap itself
Ability 2, Big Clap: Clap your palms together, summoning two large psychic hands to clap in front of you. Decently sized aoe that "scoops" enemies into a line in front of you. Pictured below:
Lots of properties that can be added to the hit, tweaked, or changed. Probably a hitbox size upgrade as one of the level-ups on the skill. This could be used for both their own combo and also to set-up a huge ult from a teammate. Similar to how Magnus ult in dota 2 can set up crazy team plays, but he can also put in mad work on his own.
Those are the 2 abilities + general theme I have in mind. I can't really think of 2 other abilities to complement this, sorry haha. I think these would both be pretty cool though.
