Fortunately you can always leave with ultimate but if it's on cooldown expect a 110-90 second wait before being able to save yourself.
Conditions are unknown. A fix may soft-nerf Mirage's tornado if the check is too aggressive for conflicting terrain.
Though under circumstances, as seen in the attached video below, I tried to tornado forward into the enemy through one of the overpass' piers. It got me stuck through the geometry.
