Mirage's mark not exploding automatically if levelled up while already on enemy

I was trying things in the lobby with mirage, and I noticed that, if I put a mark on an enemy, then, while the mark is there, I level up the skill and then continue to hit him, the mark will go up to 4, but not higher and thus, not exploding.
