It would be interesting to see a hero similar to Pyro in TF2 but not exactly the copy of it:
Primary Fire: Plasma Igniter / Flamethrower:
- Mid-range continuous spray of superheated plasma or fire: damage increases the longer it’s focused on target
- Leaves a burning effect for a few seconds after the exposure
- Continuous shooting / overusing the gun causes its overheat, so it starts to damage the player until cooled (can be compensated with 3rd ability upgrades / spirit lifesteal?)
Alternative Fire mode: airblast / thermal wave: blast of superheated air in a direction of the aim
- can knockback the target (heroes or other NPC's)
- can deflect projectiles (talon's arrows / ult, seven's ball, other heroes' bombs)
- also clears haze's smoke bombs / veil walker's effect (?)
Ability 1: Fusion Cascade - launches a plasma projectile stacks that explodes on contact, damaging players and nearby tagets. If the target (hero?) dies of the exposure, the stacks spread around to other objects in a range damaging them too - triggering a chain reaction
Ability 2: Fire wall for defence that damages the enemies passing through or gains speed/shooting effect for allies (?)
Ability 3: Passive (?)
- Moving through fire grants speed boost / DPS for a few sec for the hero itself or teammates too
- Better "heat management": reduces the effect of self-damage from overusing the primary fire
- Speed boost during damage of the target
Ult: Flare Surge
The hero charges it's plasma igniter and emits a pulse into a ground superheating and area around it creating a plasma geyser (?):
- applies stun to the enemies in the range, slows them down and performs heavy burning damage
- teammates can gain damage resistance / healing in the area
