Mic Audio Active When Disabled

I haven't had many issues with the game thus far; However, Mic Audio seems to be active in-game even when disabled. I was in a voice call on Discord with my buddies and they were able to hear me both in there and in game despite in-game vc being disabled. I tried resetting my headset, restarting the game, and restarting my pc entirely; despite that, this still seems to be an issue. Any pointers?
