Melee attacks sometimes do nothing after patch 21.11.2024

So I jumped into deadlock after new patch. I played played a few games as a melee oriented Beebop. But soon i noticed that some of my both light and heavy punches deal no damage at all. And its not like im missing or getting parried. Visualy i can see i connected the punch, and i even get the audio cue.

Its more obvious from perspective of Paradox. Beebops is more chaotic.
She and Abrams jumps lady Gheist under the temple. I jump into the fight, put my sticky bomb on her, use my uppercut to line up my next melee. It connects but her healthbar remains unchanged. I manage to land a second heavy afterwards with the same result.
(Her health drops down by 30ish because she gets shot by Gheist at the same time.)
Fight moves to the secret shop. I land a third heavy that finally dealt damage. Paradox dies soon after.

Note: Notice that in clip from Beebops perspective the melee damage numbers shows, but her health remains the same.

I played 4 more matches, in every one of them i registered this happening at some point. Its pretty inconsistent though. I had game where my punches didnt register once or twice. And i also had 2 games where i had similar "miss" streaks like this.

It might not seem like a big deal, but ive lost few very close fights because my melee attacks didnt register.

Didn't catch a clip of it, but I had something similar happen earlier, where I landed a melee dead-on, got the audio confirmation... and no damage was dealt.

As an additional datapoint in melees being... off: This clip is a little older (from 11-18), but I clearly make contact with the Warden (his model even causes mine to "hitch" and move oddly) but the melee doesn't register at all. It's like it treats him as being a piece of terrain.

It seems to me like he dodged last second, and the game couldnt decide wheter to hit him or not. Dont hear that audio cue you were talking about though.
