Passive — Distributed Body


Alferd exists as multiple bodies (“Instances”).

Rules

  • All instances:
    • Share items
    • Share XP
    • Share cooldowns
  • Each instance has:
    • Its own HP
    • Its own stamina
    • Its own position
  • Only one instance is actively selected at any time

Control

  • Press 1 / 2 / 3 to instantly switch control
  • Switching is instant, no animation lock
  • Camera snaps, crosshair remains stable

Inactive Behavior


Inactive instances become creep-like agents:
  • Auto-attack nearest enemy
  • Push lanes or defend nearby objectives
  • basic dodging, basic aiming, no ability use
  • Can receive queued actions in actively selected state

Type: Hitscan / Point-scan shot
Cooldown: Low
Use: Pressure, setup, stamina denial


Alferd fires a precise shot from the active instance.


Mechanics

  • Applies a stacking debuff to enemies hit
  • Stacks are shared across all instances

Stacks

  • 1 stack: Normal damage
  • 2 stacks: Target is slowed by 50%
  • 3 stacks: Each hit drains stamina

Stacks decay one by one after a short delay.

Rules

  • Only the active instance can apply stacks
  • Inactive instances only auto-attack
  • Encourages rapid switching to maintain pressure

Type: Global reposition / burst
Cooldown: Medium–High
Shared cooldown


The defining coordination tool.


Activation


Cast from the active instance.


Effect

  • After a short delay:
    • All inactive instances become invulnerable

    • Deal AoE spirit damage on arrival

Rules

  • Cancels all queued actions
  • Does not require aiming from inactive units
  • Damage scales with number of instances
  • Can be used defensively or offensively

Ultimate — Multiplicity Framework


This ability defines Alferd.


Each level fundamentally changes how the hero plays.




Ult Level 1 — Second Instance


  • Gain 1 additional body
  • Can switch between them
  • Enables basic split pressure



Ult Level 2 — Third Instance


  • Gain another body
  • Increased Poof damage scaling
  • Higher risk, higher map control



Ult Level 3


  • Gain bonus spirit, bonus movespeed, improved abilities

Death Rules (Critical Risk System)


If one instance dies:

  • 1st death: All remaining instances lose 25% current HP
  • 2nd death: Lose 50% current HP
  • 3rd death - Regular death (unless one of the instances respawned in base)

If all instances die:
  • Full hero death
  • Long respawn
  • All instances respawn at base (normal respawn rate)

Rules

  • Damage is based on max HP
  • Cannot be mitigated
  • Encourages careful positioning and retreat

Queued Actions (FPS-Safe Macro)


Inactive instances may receive queued intents:

  • Move to location
  • Push lane
  • Defend structure
  • Chase a target
  • Go to base

Once completed, instance returns to auto mode.
