McGinnis Turret Watcher Aggro

McGinnis can place her turret behind the small sign in front of the guardian (T1 tower) to draw guardian (tower) aggro without the McGinnis turret actually being hit.
What this does in effect is force the watcher to shoot its beam at a wall instead of any creeps or heroes hitting it as long as the turret it closer.
Match ID is 1664215, it occurs a couple of times early in the game.

Can confirm this is still happening. I accidentally did this yesterday so that the guardian and turret wouldn't attack each other, but the guardian just channels its beam at the sign (aiming for the turret) despite doing no damage.
