If you shoot and then instantly go into ability 1 or 2 whilst still holding the fire button down, the game will think you are 'firing the gun' (therefore increasing McGinnis' fire rate) meaning that if you deselect the aforementioned abilities, your weapon will be primed and at the max fire rate for her specific gun
