McGinnis got infinite turrets

its (sorta) intended, you can reach 100% cdr on charge skills with a bunch of items, spirit rune and a ton of cdr buffs

I was able to confirm that it was not possible to drop them at the rate they were in the video, I was only able to drop them every couple of seconds, which was still going to be oppressive just not to that degree. They had something else that was giving them an instant cooldown, I went as far to match their cool down rate as seen on the last frame of the video but still couldn't drop them that quick.

I thought that at first as well, but it is possible if you get the "casting" powerup. It adds an extra 20 percent cooldown reduction on top of what the items give. The items cd + breakable bonuses + casting powerup do allow you to spam the turrets as fast as they do in this video. Just tested it in demo hero.

I grabbed the casting as well thinking the same but for me it didn't make a difference, perhaps there is something with getting cool down that high that has a bug? I may try again on my computer at home instead of running on my steam deck.

Did you pair it with the bonus cd from breakable items? In the video it shows they have 49 cdr on the stats at the end. So I also kept breaking golden statue's until I got to 49 too, then took the casting buff.

yes, I specifically got to 49 on the recharge stat getting the breakable items. The amount needed to be picked up means either the player was super lucky finding the cool down pickups or they just dedicated themselves all game to finding them. I'm testing again now to see if I can replicate on my main rig.

I did the test again, this time I was able to cast the turrets instantly. I do find it interesting on the steam deck I did not get this to trigger, so maybe the issue is an inconsistent application of the casting power up? I may have to do this again on the steam deck to see if the behavior is consistent or not.

I was able to get 100% cdr in a game as well.
30% improved cooldown
20% improved charges
15% spiritual overflow
8% divine kevlar
20% casting rune
7% from breaking the statues
