That makes sense! I don't see why it would have Melee resistance and as an abrams main I feel obligated to say remove that plz thx. I don't know if this is something that would be healthy for the game because it would just allow already strong builds to be stronger but if theywanted to add an upgrade to bullet resist shredder it would probably look something like that.

It would have melee resistance because Bullet Resist Shredder does, and so any upgrades would need to have it too. Also a common thing to see is for instance a Shiv or Abrams just constantly punching an ulting Haze, so this would help in those situations too.

You're gonna be melting anybody trying to punch you to death by the time you can build a spirit t4 on haze.

I mean, yeah, probably. But I don't think Valve is super for removing stats with item upgrades, as that tends to feel kinda bad, so as long as BRS has it, this would too. I get why it has it though, mainly for the chunky shotgunners to grab it, and be a little more sturdy in melee range.
