Make Mystic Slow passive affected by falloff

Today Siphon Bullets was nerfed to make it be proportionally affected by damage falloff. It seems to make sense to apply this to Mystic Slow as well.

This would serve to nerf Mystic Slow Mini Turrets by allowing an enemy to retain some semblance of fire rate when just within their max range.
It seems that the maximum falloff leaves the turrets dealing ~2/3 of the damage they do without falloff. I'm unsure if this falloff rate applies to all falloff, or just the Mini Turrets.

Mystic Slow's current passive stats:
+25% Movement Slow
+40% Fire Rate Slow


Mystic Slow passive stats proportionally lowered to 2/3:
+16.33% Movement Slow
+26.33% Fire Rate Slow
 
Cool idea, though a big part of the utility is to catch runners and if the slow has falloff it becomes much less effective against runners. Wouldn't be opposed to having this on just the turrets.
 
Then they will need to buff mystic slow stats to make it relevant, then those who buy this item would be melee bruisers like warden, abrams or even haze. I dont want that. Try getting unstoppable or more mobility if slows are an issue for you.

Could someone opposed give some other examples of items/abilities which would be nerfed by such a change?

Off the top of my head all I can think of is Tesla Bullets. Searching the changeling for "falloff" only has references to bullet and turret falloff.

Tesla bullets is bullet damage, so it falls off, only bullet damage falls off and it modifiers (lucky shot, mystic shot, etc) long range modifier makes it better at range. Turret fall off is a range in which you can damage turrets, idk why it called a fall off, its mostly like back door protection.

Nope, turrets have a damage falloff, which is the whole point of my post.
The damage falloff was introduced here and has been increased since. If you don't believe me, feel free to test it in the hero sandbox, as I did prior to making this post.

I ask again, if you're so opposed to the change... what would it impact other than the mini turrets and tesla bullets (which do indeed impart spirit damage)?

They wont need to buff mystic slow. Falloff would only affect Mcginnis, who's already an S tier pick across all ranks.
