The character would have a regular appearance, perhaps a 'blurry' face that others think they recognize, but as he builds up Insight on enemies through his abilities they see his true appearance as an eldritch entity/mind flayer, perhaps as a neat bonus doorman could also be visible in another form with enough Insight.
Weapon : A mid range crossbow with high velocity that gains weak homing based on the enemies insight.
Ability 1 : Corruption
Summon a corrupted puddle at your feet with 4m radius that surges forward 8m, dealing 60 (spirit scaling) damage, inflicting 2 insight, and restricting use of movement abilities for 2s on contact, the puddle lasts 4s and slows movement speed by 20% and reduces trooper and creep resistances by 40%.
(8+ insight) : The puddle will expand towards unstable players at a rate of 1.5m/s during its duration, and gain 15 (spirit scaling) damage per second.
(16 insight) : Insane enemies in 6m of any puddles will be struck by a spectral tentacle for 60 (spirit scaling) damage every 2.5s

(2AP) : +50 surge damage.
(5AP) : +2s puddle duration, and if an enemy is directly above a puddle while at 8+ insight they will be pulled to the ground with a 3s cooldown.
Ability 2 : Planewalker
Enter a different plane for up to 4s, gaining non-ultimate or stun debuff immunity, increasing movement speed by 25% and causing different interactions with enemies depending on their insight, as well as inflicting 2 insight when passing through enemies with a 1s cooldown.
(7 or less insight) : You cannot damage eachother, but you can still target them with your abilities, while they cant target you.
(8+ insight) : You deal 60% damage to the enemy and they can deal 40% damage to you.
(16 insight) : The enemy deals 80% damage to you, and receive 20% increased damage from you.

(1AP) : -7s cooldown
(2AP) : +1.5s duration
(5AP) : +2 insight inflicted and 60 (spirit scaling) damage dealt when passing through enemies.
Ability 3 : Truth
(Passive) Your gun builds up 33% of an insight stack on hit, as well as some of your abilities inflicting a stack. Insight stacks last 8s and will halve stacks instead of being cleansed from duration ending or items, Insight stacks up to 16.
Enemies with Insight stacks will be able to perceive differences in your gun and abilities which gains the ability to harm them.
(Active) Utter an incomprehensible word, causing different effects to enemies in 8m depending on the enemies Insight.
(7 or less insight) : inflict 3 Insight stacks
(8+ insight) : inflict 2 Insight stacks and they suffer -15% spirit resistance for 4s
(16 insight) : Target suffers muted gameplay audio and silence for 2.5s
22s cooldown
(1AP) : +3s insight duration
(2AP) : +1.5% spirit damage to enemies for every insight stack they have
(5AP) : Casting Truth on an enemy with 16 insight stuns them for 0.4s and spreads half their insight to enemies in 12m if possible.
Ability 4 : Abyssal Zone
After a 1s cast, an area 15m around you is converted into an abyssal zone for 10 seconds, inflicting 2 insight every second on enemies, and reducing their movement speed by 30%.
(8+ insight) : Now inflicts silence, and reduces spirit resistance by 15%
(16 insight) : Target suffers 100 (spirit scaling) damage and is stunned for 1s before having their insight halved
