Long range punch

Punches are well-bugged. When I know it won't reach me and yet more than once it goes in without knowing why. A good example of such a punch in the screenshot. I am a good car length behind the yamato and got punch damage. This happens repeatedly and I can't predict whether to defend myself or whether it won't go in, and yet it goes in despite the distance.

Not that i doubt you but why is Yamatos fixation cooldown lower before the kill than after? Can you record a video of this instead? Use Windows Button + G
 
melee charge is an item that exists and extends heavy melee punch distance by 40%. it would easily allow yamato to punch that entire distance. also server lag could be a little bit behind your current position on your screen

Dash distance not the punch distance itself.

dunno rly :D But why i should lie about punch?

Those punch has big distance and also you can hit ppl when they are hiding around the corner.
 
I have noticed this happen rarely. The enemy will start a punch at max range from you and if you dodge the punch still connects even though they stop where you used to be.
 
It's so annoying that you don't know if a particular punch will reach you as it's 2-3 hero lengths away. You know you are far away and here is a surprise
