Game starts minimized on arch linux, x11, XFCE, using proton GE9-11. For some reason the game starts minimized on my system. No settings seemed to solve the issue.
Chances are high that's something to do with your desktop environment/window manager. Mine starts the game in fullscreen but shifted up slightly, and I need to go into the video settings and apply them again to fix it
