Lash "shiny" particle effect gone, looks worse than before (bug or feature, should be changed)

Lash's cool particle effect is gone, I didn't play him much but it looked cool (like he had a tf2 style unusual).
It improved the games art-style and didn't cause visual clutter, so it should be fine. Feels like more of a bug than a feature not that it's gone.
