In general there's to much DMG and not enough sustain and options during lane.

It's to easy to get DMG early, bully and leave almost no options for comeback. Can't effectively farm jungle, cause will lose tower. Can't soak exp cus souls is your exp. Can't just safely sit under tower, they are useless. It takes couple of horrible games to realize how unfair laning can get. Some hard matchups should exist, but not every should easily be able to become unbearable

Overall it feels like conceptually same characters from DOTA have been poot in harsher environment of DL:
-Almost all DOTA chars have base resists, while DL is not
-Less sources of sustain compared to less braindead haras and recourses war of DOTA
-Smaller lanes with less spaces to avoid DMG
-Stupid DMG from RANGED creeps
-Cosmetic tower which you can parry and just dive
-Numbers of Spells CD DMG item stats, all slightly overturned

Couple of previous patches with tower buffs ect. and latest nerf of all yellow 500 items makes me feel that i'm right. For me it looks like devs trying to fix 10+ years of DOTA powercreep by building new balance in this game. I want to believe that my correct predictions for previous patches and 10 years of experience in genre doesn't fool me and i'm onto something

Restorative shot - 400hp/min
Extra Regen - 180hp/min +11% max hp
Sprint Boots - 60hp/min +11% max hp
Extra Spirit - 60hp/min +35hp
Healing Rite - 346hp/min +30hp+11% max hp

Even without healing rite that's 700hp per min +22% max hp, if it's not enough for you during laning phase you suck at making decisions.
Not to mention lanes are so wide and multiple z lvls that even Geist or Haze's ult can't hit everyone.

Next game try to not stand under guardian whole 8 mins.
 
also, quick dash to base and back. most of the time you dont even need to spend time at base to heal just get the buff and start going back.
 
This game is Deadlock, not Dota. Pushing the wave being the default win state in lane instead of freezing in some random spot like how most other mobas play is a huge factor in what makes Deadlock unique. Lane also doesn't really matter, compared to mid game fights around objectives.
