Kicked from game unable to rejoin

I was playing Graves and was DC from the game returning to the lobby but I was unable to rejoin even after restarting the game.

This happened to me just now as well. I was playing Infernus and I had to close my game to restart my PC because my mouse kept clicking off the game, even though it was in Fullscreen.

After opening the game, I was able to rejoin and play for a few minutes before I was randomly kicked back to the lobby, no messages to indicate this. No matter how many times I attempt to rejoin, or re-open the game to then rejoin, it would show my a Connecting screen before bringing me back to the lobby.

I was graves we were in the same server. Def a valve issue.

Update: at around 5:45pm today, Sunday, I opened up the game for the first time since the incident and was met with the "rejoin or abondon a match" prompt on the top left corner of my screen. Somehow, this match's status carried almost 27 hours over and didn't end when the match ended on it's own, even without my presence. I'm trying to play with some friends, so I had to Abondon the match and whatever penalty is coming my way.
