Keyuboard input latency makes me use items while typing first letter in chat

There's no buffer or whatever it's called between typing enter and starting the message

As such I keep pressing enter to start a message, Shift+I to start a message like " I wish my parents would like me more" and it does type a capital "i", but since I reconfigured my Hotkeys for items to left shift (and others) I use my item on left shift...

It's a shame cause in these games you really have small windows of time to speak, if I need to wait to be sure I dont waste items it's gonna be a pain.
