Jump Dashing is slower than Dodging and doesn't let you slide if you hold movement key in opposite direction of the Dash.

It says that dash jumping is 18 ms base on Seven and Dodging is 15, but it appears to be the opposite. Also If you are air dashing and hold the movement key in the opposite direction you cannot slide. You can do this while dodging though.
