I thought about an idea for a hero that specializes in holding ground against continued aggression and tries to counter what the community would refer to as snowball meta.

Jasmine
Jasmine is a botanist from South Ixia and her kit revolves around using the terrain around her against the enemy team. She relies on her knowledge of handling all kinds of deadly and exotic flora to distract, deter and ultimately destroy her enemies.
- Her first ability requires her to not be airborne as the effect uses the terrain she is standing on to afflict nearby enemies and encourage them to either fully commit in eliminating Jasmine or immediately withdraw from the fight.
(1) Unstable Overgrowth:
Set down a plant at the location of Jasmine which rapidly grows out in a fixed radius parallel to the ground. Any enemy caught in the effect will be slowed while they remain in the growth area and receive damage over time when moving until the effect expires.
Cannot be used while airborne.
- Her second ability is her most potent damage output. She applies seeds to the terrain around her that when passed by the enemy team apply a stacking damage over time debuff for each 1.5 second they are in proximity to them.
(2) Seeds of Torment:
Throw a clump of seeds that attach to terrain. Enemies passing near them receive stacking damage over time for a set duration. The duration of the effect is doubled if the enemy is in contact with Unstable Overgrowth.
- Her third ability is used to crowd control enemies in a fight by encouraging enemies to stay clumped up together until someone on her team can capitalize using their own abilities in combination to take them out.
(3) Verdant Embrace:
Release a twisting vine forward that entangles enemies it passes through. The enemies affected become bound to each other for the duration of the effect. Bound enemies receive damage and become slowed when they move too far from each other breaking the bond with the others.
- Her fourth ability is her own muscle power being brought onto display. She channels briefly to summon a golem which guards her against any nearby enemies prioritizing heroes as targets.
(4) Floral Anima:
Channel to summon a botanical golem at the location of Jasmine. The golem moves to attack the closest enemy in a radius around Jasmine. If Jasmine is killed while the golem is summoned it will automatically die.
Prioritizes enemy heroes when picking targets.
