I play Ivy quite a bit, so this isn't the first time I've been hit by Paradox Ulti in/around when I'm using Ivy's Stone Form, but in the past, it followed the easy-to-explain:
a) I cast too early: the ult does nothing (can't swap invuln statue?)
b) I cast just right: the ult goes off, paradox flies into a "stationary" Ivy, then gets stunned
c) I cast too late: the ult catches Ivy before I could Stone Form, and so I just had to wait til after the paradox swap finishes before I can use Stone Form
I think this is the first time I've ever been hit by Kinetic Carbine into the ult, so maybe this has always been a thing.
It would appear as though something is going on after the reworks to Paradox's abilities?
My buddy has a pretty solid idea, that it has to pertain with the Kinetic Carbine trying to not halt my momentum, the game seeing Ivy was hit by the Paradox Ult, and that I technically should have had a bunch of momentum... The only thing is that I wouldn't be able to cast Stone Form unless Kinetic Carbine has worn off, so unless there's some sort of "momentum grace period", so take this theory with a grain of salt
Anyway, the TL;DR: is I would like for the interaction to stay as it was, where Ivy gets to ignore the ult actually swapping her; but if we want the stone-form to actually swap places, it'd be nice if it followed the constant timeframe, rather than rubberbanding or snapping to the end-zone
