Essentially Apollo’s movement skills still cause him to become stuck in map geometry semi regularly at the wrong angle. My best guess from what seems to be causing it is something with velocity and how the game handles collision hithoxes. Without being familiar with source 2 that’s my best guess, because it’s specifically happening when movement based skills that function similarly to Apollo’s(ie: flat, directional speed bursts) hit map geometry at certain angles with a specific preference for corners and Itani lo sahn.
Something with how these abilities are coded is causing collision to not treat them the same way that say calico 2 is treated, idk if this specific to Apollo, I know it happens with ult, and riposte and very occasionally with 3 but Yama grapple has had this too for a bit and so has bebop hook (though on those last two the criteria for triggering OOB behavior seems more arbitrary.)
The only constant thread I can see between these is player characters moving at high speeds with regard to collision at weird angles. However Apollo is by far the most consistent of them all having it happen reproducibly in testing with ult and riposte specifically.
Thanks.
