Internet disconnecting when playing randomly

Anytime from the start of the game to the end my internet network will crash, disconnecting all my devices. This only happens when I'm in game. I lose connection to steam, my phone disconnects from the Wifi, my router actually glows red until it resets. In game I can barely move without massive rubber-banding, then I eventually disconnect.

This may not happen every game, or it happens three times in one, setting me back considerably. I don't know why it's doing this, no other game has the ability to shut down my whole network, and I'm not sure what to do about it.

If anyone else has this problem, please reply to the thread because I feel like I'm going crazy. How can one PC game take down my internet?

This happened to me and my husband yesterday mid-game as well. We assumed it was our modem / internet provider, but the internet app didn't show any outages or issues.

In-Game Time Stamp: 17:00 (exactly) is when I stop moving and the disconnect shows a few seconds later. Praise to the pathing programmer dev for somehow getting me back to base without dying.

the worst part is that i have decent internet this still happens and then im punished for it with a 3 hour ban and 4 low P matches guess i wont be playing the game i was enjoying alot

i was able to reconnect in time to avoid a ban but I think that was just luck.

me too! everygame i disconnect from the server several times. it's so annoying and some games lose because of it. however my internet is good when playing other games like cs2 etc. i think there must be something wrong with this game and i won't play it anymore until it's fixed. hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm having a similar problem.
Something weird I notice is that it happens roughly every 10 minutes. In one match (ID: 22190877 playing Pocket) I got a disconnect at 7:30, 17:30, and 27:30. It seems like the Geist in that match might also having the same bug I am, but they only disconnected at 17:30. They were standing still at 7:30 and dead at 27:30 so they might have just waited it out both those times. I just played another match (ID: 22439128 playing Viscous) where the disconnects happened at 8:50 and 18:50 instead. I thought it was just my internet but the fact it's reliably happening every 10 minutes, and might be happening to other people in the same match as me makes me think it's a bug. It only started happening to me this Saturday.

Also, this has happened in every match I've played since Saturday. The replays aren't ready for download on the ones I played today so I can't say for sure what times I disconnected on those ones though.
